Mac & Cheese

Pasta
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
3-4 cups milk
cheese

boil pasta.

melt butter in sauce pan.  add flour and whisk together quickly.  Keep cooking on med heat for 30 seconds.  Add milk slowly/mediumly while whisking.  Keep stirring often.  When it gets close to boiling and starts thickening, stir constantly because it burns easily on the bottom.  Add grated cheese.  I can't remember the amount, but add more than you think and taste to make sure it's cheesy enough.  It should thicken up quickly after it boils.  Add salt.  pour over pasta.
