1 ½ c hot water
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp yeast
Stir together. Add 3 c. flour, knead for 3 minutes then let it sit for 10 minutes.
Melt 1 cube of butter on cookie sheet, roll dough out and cut into slices about ½ inch thick. Dip both sides into butter. Place dough on cookie sheet so they touch. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
